Katie is a wife, mom of two daughters, and host of the Bountiful Living podcast. In her lifetime, she has watched the Lord do miracles and sustain her through her fair share of struggles.

On the podcast, I dive into the Word of God and share testimonies of His faithfulness. My deepest prayer is that these truths help you discover a truly bountiful life in Christ.

On the Bountiful Living podcast, we will explore the bountiful, abundant life we have in Christ. He empowers us to walk victory despite the challenges, trials, and adversity we encounter.

A lot has changed since the Lord placed conviction on my heart in 2009 about the way I was living my life. I was focused on the things of this world instead of setting my mind on things above. As Christians, we have the same authority given to Christ to go into the world and share the good news of the Gospel!!

The good news of the gospel is simple.

Christ came to proclaim liberty to the captives, bring comfort to the mourning, and give hope to the afflicted.

Therefore, as His ambassadors, we have this great commission to:

1. Go and make disciples, teach them to obey everything I have commanded.

2. Make disciples of all nations (The Gospel is for everyone, everywhere)

3. We won't be doing this alone; through the Holy Spirit, Christ is always with us.

I came across this scripture today and had to share it. I was telling one of our daughters today as we were reading Psalm 91, that the Lord is our shield and buckler, which means His protection surrounds us with 360 degree protection, not just one sided protection.

🔥Then I stumble across this verse, that "He is a wall of fire all around." I have never pictured God that way, yet this is what He is declaring He is to His people.

Sometimes we don't feel safe. Whether it's an attack from the enemy, we are being persecuted, we're afraid, picture God as this today.

🛡️He is our shield. He protects us. He is the glory in our midst.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 states, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”

I find myself led to these verses continually for encouragement, reminding me, “Do not lose heart!”

Maybe you need to hear this today too that your hardship, your pain, the bitter pill of suffering will not destroy you.

“This momentary, light affliction is producing in us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all compassion.” 2 Corinthians 4:17

Keep fighting the good fight of faith.
